....Around the Garden .....

Some little bits and pieces from my Garden ...

........ and a Spider Warning........there is 1 (one) Spider photo .... it looks very dramatic but it's not a big one...

OK here it is.....
....... he's got long legs................................

OK...... Now For The Pretty Things........ Bringing on the Flowers..........

......some lovely soft ferns around my bucket and drain area............ Not Pretty enough??? ......

........... how's this ??... The flowers of my Crown of Thorns plant....... I love the golden speckles in the centre..........

............. the tiny flowers of the Asparagus Fern........ so delicate ...............

............... I like this photo of the Sun through the trees......

.... this is over our fence ...in the neighbour's back yard........ very pretty....

....OK....... this is my Dog, Kyton........ he is nearly 11 yrs old.............
..In this picture he is trying to roll in a cockroach (black thing near mat on the left), that he brought in to show us........ you can see by his face that he's full 'happy' mode....... this makes me laugh, you'd think he could at least be rolling in the right direction ... poor old fella ..I think he's losing the plot a bit......

......... hairy bases of my Plumbago flowers..........
.
.That's it for today...

Have a lovely week everyone...
Hugs and Blessings..

  3. What am I doing wrong I have a Asparagus fern and I don't think it has flowered.
He is a sweet spider not at all dangerous looking, we have had a lot less this year is it because it's so dry or has Drumstick eaten them, my money is on Drumstick.
    Merle...................the weather is better today.

    1. Hi Susan... have only been in snow when we went toboggoning with our children for 2 days, many years ago. Living with snow for a whole season must be awkward and hard work....hope it eases up and you start to get signs of Spring soon...

  5. I loved seeing the green in your garden! Everything in my flowerbeds is still brown. The crown of thorns flower is very pretty.

Your little Kyton is so cute. He wants to scent himself with eau-de-bug "perfume". My little Fuzzy pomeranian is terrified of spiders and centipedes. If one gets in the house he is sure to snuff, and huff, and point it out to me. He goes toward it and sniffs at it, but won't get near them. I figure he must be able to smell their venom. Hours later he will still be walking around sniffing and trailing where the spider had walked. Spider and centipede scent is one of the few icky things that he does not roll in. He is no longer allowed out in the fenced yard without me on the other end of the leash because of his searching out gross things to roll in. I once had to give him two baths in one day because of his bad rolling-in-things habit.

  6. The asparagus fern flowers are really lovely!! I didn't know they got flowers..
Poor old Kyton..I guess if he has to forget how to do something, rolling on smelly bugs is a good choice, lol!
    He's still cute :-)

  7. Very nice photos Barb, I've never looked at the bases of plumbagos before. Love the crown of thorns, my mum had a few of those, they did very well in the Port Pirie heat.

    1. Hi Nell.... Don't push yourself to post. If it becomes a chore you won't enjoy it. I did that and it wasn't a good feeling..... now I post when I want to and read and comment on other blogs when I want to , and I'm enjoying it more... I tend to be a commenter more than a poster.....
Hope you and your family are well ... I think of you often.....
