Garden Clean-up....... Part 2.....

Hubby has been doing a lot of garden work over the last few days........
Overgrown

Tidy
He has done a lovely job .....I'm so pleased with the results so far.......

the hanging plants are trimmed......except for this one that is looking full and fabulous....

the orchid house
Hubby has put these Bromiliad plants in our front yard until we decide what to do with them...they are quite overgrown and too big for their pots....they were hanging over the path.....

..new plants potted from  older, larger plants .....you can see the narrow space the plants out the front had to be in.......needed thinning out.....

more re-potting...

...more to go...

much neater.....

Will post more when we do more........ it's so nice to see the millions of freckle plants reduced to a nice reasonable number.......
Have a good  day...
Hugs and Blessings...

  1. The garden looks great Barb!
It's so good to have the big heavy plants up off the ground and on the shelves.
It will make it easier for you to look after them without breaking your back!
I love that hanging plant you have with the "rats' tails" :-)
Hubby has done a great job!
    love and hugs..Trish

  4. It's nice to give everything a good haircut. You both must have a love of your garden to put in so much effort. The fence with the little shelf is such a good idea. Your plants look very healthy. Happy Easter Barb xx

    1. Hi Jeanette .... We actually have a narrow garden space and that's why we need to keep working on it... it hangs over and blocks the path otherwise.....
Hubby and I are 'shelf people' we have them inside and outside the house..

  6. Good job, well done! Today was beautiful here in Ohio - the first day warm enough to sit outside. I'll be cleaning up my garden soon. I was happy to see I have some crocus blooming! Happy Easter, Barb!
