Spring Flowers

Hello All,
I've been taking more photos of spring flowers.........

Hubby's pink orchid

large cactus flower

Ornamental cherry blossoms

more blossoms

more orchids

my NSW Christmas bush coming into bloom

these flowers will be replaced by red calyxes by christmas

my iceberg rose gets one or two blooms all year round

the primulas are doing well

I live the pansies..all in a row

Mum's hydrangea blooming ..1st time in 4years...so pleased

small cactus covered in flowers

Mum's cyclamen..found the perfect spot for it...finally

I love Spring and all the new growth and the re-appearance of delicate and pretty fruit blossoms and the miracle of finding plants that I thought had died ....sprouting life.

.......just like my little oleander bush did. It still looks a bit wobbley ...but I'm sure it will continue to improve.

Hope you liked my Spring garden
Have a good day,
Barb from Australia

  2. Hi Barb! Lovely to hear from you and see your thriving florals! Of course, mine are all dying out as we are well into autumn - though our temperatures are in the mid-70's with lows only in the 50's. Not that I'm looking for severe weather at all - but - just a little more crisp so it feels right with all the foliage at peak. Always so nice to visit you in our fall and winter for a breath of spring and summer!
    Joy!

  3. Hi Barb,
It great this year, everything is going well this year except my jackerandra (is that spelt right) tree but most of the one around here are not doing well.
Kevin' orchids are a great colour they are new aren't they.
The pansies and primulars are my favourites but I can't grow them.
I'm glad your mum's flowers have taken and flowering it always takes a few year for them to get established.

  4. Aha - so that's the cherry blossoms!
Yep, they're the same as ours :-)
The orchids are a great colour and the primulas are so delicate.
Your side garden must be looking very pretty now with all these lovely flowers coming out!
Our magnolia was covered in buds but a bad frost last week burnt them before they could open :-(
The banksia rose is going wild with blossoms though, so I'm happy!
    Thanks for linking up, Barb.
Hope you all have a good day there at home - it's grey and cold here brr!
    love and hugs..Trish x

  7. Yes Barb love Spring too, Your cherry blossoms are so pretty and delicate. We had an horrendous electrical storm last night. I have never seen it like that before,it was a bit scary. All the lights went out and we went to bed at 9.30 hoping it would stop, but it went on for hours.:(
A bit nicer and cooler today 25c.
Thank you for your good wishes. xx
